Ever since top-ranked skater Cory Juneau won his first bronze medal at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo while wearing his exclusive Golden Goose collaboration, he and the brand have been a match made in sneaker heaven. And now, the brand is continuing its international journey with Juneau with the launch of its fourth Ball Star style, inspired by none other than Portland, Oregon.

The international journey began back in 2022, and since then the brand and the Olympian have partnered on exclusive styles inspired by Milan, Copenhagen, Austin and now, Portland. Featuring cream nappa leather with yellow suede accents, the latest style fittingly pays homage to the City of Roses with a rose on each insole, a subtle nod to the west coast city. Like the past styles, these sneakers are ‘for skateboarding use only’ – meaning that they provide unmatched comfort and support designed specifically for the sport. Rubber inserts and ultra-cushioned insoles allow for unmatched board connection, while careful positioning reduces impact while providing greater durability. And despite being ‘only’ for skateboarders, we can’t help but want a pair ourselves.

In the past years, Golden Goose has solidified their presence in the skate space and dedication to the lifestyle, as shown through their commitment to designing the perfect skater shoe. Even further than that, the luxury footwear brand has been capturing the journey of the Olympian through an ongoing mini-series shot by the 23-year-old themselves. Titled ‘Cory’s Way’, the series has streamed through the brand’s innovative community-driven approach to social media, Golden TV since March 2022.

The fourth Ball Star Pro will drop in a numbered series of 1/100 on May 2nd, exclusively at www.goldengoose.com for $795
