To celebrate the 75-year anniversary of the Seamaster watch collection, OMEGA has designed a 7-model collection, 11 watches in total, inspired by every part of the world’s oceans and how we interact with them. From more dressy or classy looks to a complete focus on diving functionality, the special editions are an ode to OMEGA’s deep past.

Just as the 175-year-old brand itself comes from a rich and complex history, the Seamaster was built on historic underwater functionality that served both civilian divers and even more than 100,000 soldiers of the British military during World War II.

It was first launched as an anniversary collection as well, the 100-year anniversary of OMEGA in 1948, and soon became an iconic timepiece found on many divers and underwater professionals’ wrists.

As the Seamaster collection continued to exhibit new technologies and advancements for divers across the seven seas, the famed iconography of Poseidon holding a trident with his two seahorses came about. The brand’s new collection features the same logo, created in 1956, engraved on the case back of each watch.

Among the models are reimaginings of more dressy timepieces, including the stylish Aqua Terra collection, the Aqua Terra Worldtimer edition, and the Seamaster 300. More technical and function-heavy pieces include the Diver 300, the Proplof, and the Ultra Deep—an ode to the Five Deeps team which dove to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. All of the pieces use the brand’s Summer Blue hue, commonly as a base with layers of varnish.

Accessories joined the hefty collection: wave-pattern key rings, seahorse-logo cufflinks, sailing bracelets in different shades of blue, and a blue wristband fixed with a stainless steel trident of Poseidon.
