Whilst Spanish brand, Paco Rabanne is best known for its exploration of textile-based silhouettes notably its signature silver sequins, and rather unusual shapes, Julien Dossena, the brand’s creative director decided to take a different turn for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

Paco Rabanne has always been an extremely futuristic brand in its designs and exploration of avant-garde materials and silhouettes, reinstating the same theme into this collection. Dossena certainly opted for fewer textiles, but rather more conspicuous fabric maintaining the futuristic aspect and focusing on the sublime projection of feminity in the face of unknown forces.

Silver chains and grungy prints are the stars of this collection from their iconic chained accessories to their vibrant tye-dyed dresses. Ranging from all-black to extremely colorful pieces, this is certainly the punk collection of 2023. From long pants to maxi dresses to mini skirts, there is something for everyone and any occasion in this collection.

Intended for individuals to wear these looks feeling focused, determined and strong, this collection features some extreme statement pieces conveyed through the campaign as nature might be working against the models, but they maintain strength and determination through their stance, which the brand hopes to encourage through each piece.
