Tradition in fashion is becoming more and more obsolete, and New York Fashion Week has felt the shift perhaps more than anything else. Last month, New York staple Alexander Wang announced that the brand would leave New York Fashion Week after this season. Now, another New York brand is following suit, but we understand — they're going to the Happiest Place on Earth, after all.

Opening Ceremony is headed to Disneyland to show its Spring 2018 collection instead. The show will be held on March 7 — the first fashion show at Disney's Anaheim park in 40 years, according to Vogue. Designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have always taken untraditional approaches to their shows, holding pageants and dance performances in lieu of runway soirees, so their migration to Disneyland isn't a huge surprise. In fact, it's sure to be an absolute joy.

Further information wasn't available at press time, but brands have advised everyone to follow their social media accounts for more announcements. You can follow Opening Ceremony here and Disneyland here.
