If we didn't know any better, Oscar de la Renta's collection could have leaped off the pages of a childhood fairytale. From the lush fabrics and elegant lines to the more whimsical floral appliques and fuschia motifs, the Fall 2018 Ready-to-Wear collection is dazzling.

This season marks Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia's third runway show since they were named creative directors of the house of Oscar de la Renta. Together, they have seamlessly accomplished the impossible like old pros — staying true to the house's iconic roots while still attracting the millennial crowd that designers covet.

Though the collection is more classic de la Renta in nature, Kim and Garcia have an edgier take on classic silhouettes with oversized pieces and bold pops of color to complement the eccentric floral prints. The collection also predicts likely trends for the fall — off-the-shoulder tops will likely transition into chunky off-the-shoulder sweaters and bright colors like canary yellow, red, and fuschia will be on full display. To view the entire collection, check out the slideshow below.
