The luxury pet market is quite lucrative, and it isn’t hard to imagine why. Some domestic animals have basically evolved to pull on our heartstrings, and pet owners’ close connections to their animals make upscale pet products highly marketable. That’s why, in 2018, when haircare brand Ouai launched a shampoo for pets, the item was an instant hit. In honor of National Puppy Day, it’s making a return – this time, as part of the permanent collection.

The pet shampoo, called Fur Bébé, features the same scent as Ouai’s regular hair products, so if you want to smell like your pet, here’s your chance. Notes of Italian Lemon, Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, iris, lily, and white musk will make your pet smell divine. Yes, it’s fancy, but as someone who’s been known to push my dog in a stroller (she loves it), I’m in no position to judge. Like all Ouai products, the shampoo is cruelty-free, so you can feel confident that while you’re washing your pet, you’re also protecting other animals.

The shampoo includes aloe vera, rambutan seed extract, and hydrolyzed vegetable protein to improve skin and fur health. There’s even a plush toy shaped like the shampoo bottle, created in collaboration with maxbone. It’s got a squeaker inside that pets will love playing with after bathtime.
