Discover our top picks for this emerging trend, straight from the runway shows that closed MFW just a few hours ago:
Ermenegildo Zegna F/W 2020
Ermenegildo Zegna’s F/W 2020 show highlighted varying shades of cobalt, ultramarine and cerulean and the accessories were no exception. These rounded aviator shades featured a black-trimmed frame for definition and coral lenses for a pop of color were a refreshing contrast to the sea of blue that floated down the runway.
Dsquared2 F/W 2020
As part of Dsquared2’s celebratory collection for their 25th anniversary, these classic black teardrop aviators with a vibrant transparent red lens were representative of the aesthetic of the dynamic design duo.
Fendi F/W 2020
For Silvia Venturini Fendi’s latest menswear collection, utilitarianism silhouettes were merged with a cyber aesthetic. The glasses showed above feature a minimalistic design, with little to no frame in silver-tone metal to support the nearly transparent and iridescent lenses.
Tom Ford F/W 2020
American designer, Tom Ford brings his classic aviators back in an energetic hue to compliment the candy-colored vibrancy of the collection.
Prada F/W 2020
A hybrid of the past and present, these Prada sunglasses combine the trends of today with a modern rectangular frame with a nod to the past, infusing a warm tone smokey lens for contrast.
Gucci F/W 2020
For this autumn/winter collection, Alessandro Michele mixed in some influences of womenswear, complimenting the fluidity of the label. A nod to Twiggy, these glossy black rounded shades feature a neon orange lens that offsets a traditional masculine ensemble.
Emporio Armani F/W 2020
For Emporio Armani’s latest collection, asymmetrical sunglasses were the star accessory shown throughout the show. These ultra-thin glasses feature a metal frame supporting a bright red lens that gives off a Matrix vibe with an unexpected twist.
