PANGAIA to Release First Ever Eyewear Collection

Here’s everything you need to know about the new eco-friendly collection.

While starting in eco-friendly comfort-wear, PANGAIA is moving on to eyewear. The brand uses natural products and eco-technology to bring sustainability to the forefront of fashion. Through recycled materials, organic fabrics, and limitations on CO2 emissions, PANGAIA makes clothes that not only feel good, but make you feel good about your impact. The same goes for their new eyewear collection, PANGAIA Lab x Twelve.

But why stop at casual tees and hoodies? The brand’s new glasses line will be made out of CO2 efficient polycarbonate lenses. PANGAIA decided to create this line in collaboration with Twelve, a company that makes products based on no fossil fuels and no new CO2 emissions. Twelves line, CO2Made features fuels and materials that are eco-friendly alternatives to regular emissions. They do this by mimicking plants’ natural ability to convert CO2 into energy with the goal of creating a more eco-friendly future. This helps them create consumer products like clothes, cars, and electronics without causing further damage to the environment.

The eyewear will be available starting September 28th. They will premier in three colors: black, silver, and cobalt blue. Eyewear will be sold under its own category for PANGAIA and will sell for $495. With 200 units in rotation, you’ll have to act fast to get your pair, and pre-order yours before they sell out.
