Paramount+’s ‘iCarly’ Revival Is Going To Be Epic
The iconic teen show is coming back on a new platform
One of the newest streaming services, Paramount +, has started production on a revival of the hilarious teen show iCarly. Production has begun in Los Angeles and the revived series is set to air this summer.

The iconic cast consisting of Nickelodeon legend Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress, will have two new members, Laci Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett. Mosley starred in the movie The Wedding Year and Triplett starred in the show Black-ish and the movie The Affair.
Nine years after the original show went off the air, the new season will consist of 13 episodes focusing on Cosgrove who will again play Carly Shay and will follow her life with her friends and family as adults in their twenties.
Mosely will take on the role of Harper, Carly’s roommate and friend, and Triplett will play Millicent, Freddie’s stepdaughter.
The original series included Cosgrove, Trainor, and Kress along with actress Jennette McCurdy and focused on the trio of friends, Carly, Freddie, and Sam, who had a popular web series, foretelling the future of internet entertainment. Trainor played Carly’s older brother, Spencer, who worked various jobs but supported his sister in her artistic and social media endeavors.
The new series will be produced by Nickelodeon Studios and Awesomeness. The pilot is written by executive producer, Ali Schouten and Jay Kogen, who recently left as executive producer and co-showrunner, and is directed by and executive produced by Phill Lewsis. Cosgrove is also an executive producer and Trainor and Alissa Vradenburg are the shows producers.
