TORY BURCH

“This season was a breath of fresh air. Very much loving the delicious color combinations and slinky layering. Consider me starry-eyed!” – Spencer Malenski, Tory Burch Print Designer

TOMMY HILFIGER

To my surprise, the Tommy show was Andy Warhol factory theme and there I had the iconic, shoe box-sized Polaroid he used in my hands. I was running about from backstage to the show when, while it was pouring outside, somehow I ran into Kate Moss arriving. I took her photo, but with this camera you strictly have one minute to develop before peeling apart so I had to do so in the rain. It left a mark on the Polaroid I’ve never seen them do before – it would be easy to fix but I love what the weather did to hers and Tommy’s, it reminds me of the show and the models walking in the rain — Paris Mumpower

“Tommy Hilfiger’s return to NYFW truly made a statement. No one is more New York than Andy Warhol, and Tommy’s tribute to Warhol’s Factory offered a glimmering example of why we bring fashion to New York each fall. Tommy showed a side of his label we’ve never seen. Monograms, studded garments, oversize garments, jump suits, and the week’s most interesting silhouettes. His retune of the prep punk-style casual tie was my favorite—and the leather elbow-length gloves. Give me leather gloves any day!” – Everett Williams, Fashion content creator

THE BLONDS

“I always look forward to The Blonds show. I think this is the 4th or 5th time I’ve been to the show. There’s always an unexpected element that separates this show from the rest of fashion week. They are the definition of campy glitz and glamour. Cassie is an icon and someone I’ve loved for years! Seeing her hit the runway to Long Way To Go was the icing on top of an incredible show.” — Matthew Cancel, PR

TIA ADEOLA

Tia is one of the kindest, most talented friends I have ever met, I absolutely love her. I actually helped design the invitations for the show this season by scanning my silk bedding that was the same tones as her moodboard. I walked backstage to find ponytails on fire, feathers flying onto one models head to the next styled by none other than Danasia Sutton, and Kat Cooper making sure everyone was in their place as she always does. Watching her vision come to life every show is so beautiful to witness, each one stronger than the last. – Paris Mumpower
