Pharrell Williams is back with a new reinterpretation of the Humanrace Samba–a collaboration on the popular sneaker by Williams’ lifestyle brand. After having released it in two colorways last year, the artist is now ready to embrace a greater palette of colors–actually, the rainbow itself! Yellow, Orange, Pink, Lilac, Red, and the friends and family exclusive Humanrace Green, the collection of luxury footwear favors a bold monochromatic color scheme.

Williams, known for his collaborations with adidas and his vision for iconic silhouettes, was inspired by the diversity and energy of Humanrace’s DNA, which the colors aim at representing. Yet, the new collection is also a celebration of craftsmanship. “We’re instilling high quality materials and craftsmanship back into footwear,” said Williams. Just like the previous Humanrace Samba, which featured premium leather and suede as well as zig-zag stitching to mimic the original shoe model, the Humanrace Samba Colors breathes in innovation and excellence.

From the upper to the lining, to the shoelaces, this particular model is made with all-around high-end leather sourced from ECCO Leather, a world leader in innovative and premium leather. Originally from the Netherlands, the raw materials are transformed into the adidas Samba Leather through ECCO Leather’s water-saving tanning technology which saves 20 liters of water per hide. The result is not only a nod to environmentally safe production but also to higher color fastness and better performance.

And if you don’t know which color would best suit you and prefer a more subtle tone, you can wait for the Charcoal, White, and Terracotta colorways that will be released at a later date.
