Photo Roundup: Governor’s Ball 2026

New York’s most anticipated music event just wrapped up. Check it out through these photos
New York City’s premier music festival returned this year with an absolutely stacked lineup. Despite some rain on Saturday, the 2026 Governor’s Ball pulled crowds of music fans, giddy to see countless beloved artists take the stage in Queens’ Corona Park. From up-and-comers like Slayyter, Fcukers, and The Dare, to industry icons like Lorde, A$AP Rocky, and Jennie, Gov Ball showed out. Check out some of the highlights in the photos below.
The Great and Powerful Lorde

The first day of the festival wrapped up with a massive performance from one of pop music’s greatest treasures, Lorde. Just as vulnerable and raw as her last appearance at Gov Ball in 2017, Lorde came through with the classics. Opening with a remix of her 2013 breakout hit “Royals,” and finishing with another “Pure Heroin” classic, “Ribs,” her set came full circle in a classically “Lorde” type of way.

Baby Keem Brings the West Coast To NYC

Friday also featured California rapper Baby Keem, who cheekily leaned into his West Coast roots in the capital of East Coast rap. He opened his set with “Ca$ino,” a hard-hitter from his 2026 album of the same name. Throughout the performance, he moved through the hits, finishing with “family ties,” his biggest song to date, and “16,” another fan favorite from his 2021 project, “Melodic Blue.”

Stray Kids Bring the Confidence

This is truly a defining era for K-Pop, and Stray Kids proved that with their performance. The South Korean boy band was one of the groups affected by rain on the second day of the festival. Their set was moved earlier in the day and cut by 15 minutes. But even with the shortened set length, the group performed 18 songs confidently, opening with their group title track, “SKZ Anthem,” and finishing with “MIROH,” off their 2019 extended play, “Clé 1: Miroh.”

We All Wanna Rock With jennie

Pursuing solo ventures while being a member of one of music’s biggest groups is a challenge that has been faced by many greats throughout history. But Jennie has proved herself time and time again as a valuable and indispensable member of Blackpink, and also as an individual talent. In her performance, she basked in the starlight inherent in being an international super-celebrity, opening with “Filter,” shouted out her home with “Seoul City,” and finishing with “like JENNIE.”

A$AP Rocky, Hometown Hero

There was never any question that Rocky would show out for New York, but if anyone didn’t know, now they know. Harlem’s own took the stage Sunday as the festival’s final act, wearing a white ski mask with “Don’t Be Dumb,” the title of his January album, printed over the mouth. The set dressing evoked a police state, a commentary on conditions Rocky reflects on throughout his music. Rocky had raging pyrotechnics, a cast of people dressed as military police behind him, and performed “Helicopter” underneath an actual helicopter. Rocky loves his city, so he went hard.
