Photographers Inez and Vinoodh will soon open their latest exhibition in Paris at India Mahdavi’s Project Room #21. Known for digital innovation in their fashion and art photography, the presentation will feature some of the first images taken with an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Titled THINK LOVE., the work will center themes of romantic love and intimate connection. Opening on November 13, the exhibition pulls from the duo’s upcoming retrospective, CAN LOVE BE A PHOTOGRAPH. 40 years of Inez & Vinoodh, which will appear at Kunstmuseum Den Haag in the Netherlands.

THINK LOVE. features two lovers — artists Charles Matadin and Natalie Brumley — embracing under a shimmering red veil. It was shot on the iPhone 17 Pro Max as part of curator Kathy Ryan’s Joy, In 3 Parts exhibition, organized by Apple.
Since the 1990s, Inez and Vinoodh have pushed the boundaries of their medium through their early exploration of digital-imaging technology. Their editorial work has also given them a strong presence in the fashion community. The prolific duo has previously shot multiple V covers, including the V144 Fall 2023 issue, “Day & Night.”

Ahead of the Kunstmuseum Den Haag retrospective, THINK LOVE. draws on overarching throughlines in Inez and Vinoodh’s work, including digital innovation, emotional intensity, gender, and connection. The presentation will run until December 12.
