A decade of anything is always a cause for celebration. To mark ten years as one of Loewe’s most prized possessions, V takes a look at four special Puzzle re-edition bags that are ushering in the anniversary of a beloved style staple.

ON CLOUD NINE

Reach for the sky! As part of the house’s SS17 collection, the Cloud Re-Edition bag tips its hat to the painterly excellence of the 20th-century art movement. While a glance at the pattern would make one presume a cloud emoji is in view, its mimicked paint texture captures the quality of surrealist paintings like no other.

A SPOONFUL OF SPLENDOR

Ask any Loewe devotee; the words, “Paula’s Ibiza,” will echo sentiments of an endless summer. The bright colorful campaigns, the aromatic scents, and an annual ready-to-wear collection capturing sun-soaked style like no other. Paula’s Ibiza Re-Edition bag looks back at the 2021 collection that captured an unlikely muse: the kiwi fruit!

BET ON IT

Intricate design and quality craftsmanship are something you should always place your bets on. With the re-edition of one of the bags from the SS18 collection, this special version of the Puzzle bag is bringing a little Vegas to the Spanish house, emphasizing the brand’s use of lavish embroideries in new and inventive ways.

WATCH IT FIZZ

No finale to a celebration is complete without a little confetti. But what does Loewe confetti look like? For a surprise edition, the Puzzle honors its 10th birthday with a confetti-inspired bag made up of hundreds of tiny (leather!) rounds, laminated in a candy coloured hue that are all hand applied. Taking inspiration directly from the house’s FW23 show, this edition recalls a collaboration with artist Lara Favaretto and her confetti-cube installations seen at the show.
