Poppy Unveils An Explosive New Single Ahead of ‘I Disagree (More)’ Album Release

Get ready for three different genres in just one 3-minute track.

Singer and performing artist Poppy just unleashed a new single titled “KHAOS x4,” a genre-bending banger that forms a welcomed rollercoaster of sounds and emotions. The track comes just weeks before the release of the expanded edition of her I Disagree album, titled I Disagree (more), which contains four brand new songs by the artist.

Poppy is certainly no stranger to transcending genres – constantly pushing the boundaries between pop, heavy metal, electronic, and alternative has become quite the specialty for the 25-year-old. Although her outlandish music style can be overwhelming, it manages to highlight Poppy’s artistic evolution into the realm of metal-pop fusion that we may all need at this moment.

Additional tracks on the deluxe edition include “If It Bleeds,” “Bleep Bloop,” and “Don’t Ask.”

“In terms of doing what I wanted to in every element from start-to-finish, this feels like my first album. The narrative is really about destroying the things that try to destroy you,” said the singer about her I Disagree album.

The album release lands just six months after wrapping up her coast-to-coast headlining tour that included sold-out shows in San Francisco, Minneapolis, and Chicago. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, she recently rescheduled her I Disagree Tour spring shows to December of this year in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, and London.

Poppy’s latest release, I Disagree (more), is expected to drop on August 14. Listen to the new single “KHAOS x4” below:
