Porsche Tries Their Hand at Online Sales

The company is challenging how cars have been traditionally sold for decades.

You can pretty much buy anything online these days and soon, you might be able to even purchase a luxury car from the comfort of your laptop. According to Engadget, Porsche has been testing out online car sales in the United-States and Germany, giving customers the chance to purchases cars—used and new—through 25 dealers.

How this would work is that buyers would be able to fill out all of the paperwork online, only having to visit the car dealership for a few signatures and to promptly drive the vehicle to its new home.

Tesla has beat Porsche to the online dealership game and unlike the latter, Porsche owners cannot get their vehicle delivered. This means the online option is limited to those who can make their way to one of the 25 dealerships.
