Latex, miniskirts, and oversized belts all over— That pretty much sums up the runway when Poster Girl took to the Soho Beach House poolside for Miami Swim Week on Saturday. The ultra-feminine brand’s Cruise 2023 collection is pushing boundaries with its immediately recognizable silhouettes: textured cutouts and strappy ensembles that exude ’80s nostalgia with just enough Y2K flair.

This season’s cruise collection takes inspiration from 80s pop culture, from advertising slogans to catalogue campaigns. The primary colors that descended the runway were unmissable shades of neon blue and purple, with deep red looks closing the show.

Among collection standouts was a drop waist strapless dress held up by chunky belts, a red and blue sequin number with bold type across the front. An electric blue bauble bracelet protruded outwards from the model’s wrist, one of many free moving accessories that bounced with every step.

As seen on celebrity icons Doja Cat, Kylie Jenner, and Dua Lipa, there’s no question why the London-based brand has gained such a devoted following; Poster Girl defines confident femininity through a modern-day lens.
