The blend of comfortable athleisure with higher-end brands has become increasingly prevalent. However, it’s arguable that the mix has reached its pinnacle with the (somewhat cryptic) announcement from Prada that they were partnering with Adidas.

Peeking out of a white Prada shopping tote are two Adidas shoe boxes that were the main feature in the announcement Instagram post this morning. The only text was the hashtag “Pradaforadidas” and the vague words “Coming Soon.”

Virtually no information regarding the collaboration has been released (not even a date), however, it is not the first time Prada has created athletic-style sneakers. But, it’ll be interesting to see how the two iconic and dynamic brands create high-end pieces together.
