Prada Launches ‘Outdoor’ experience In The U.S.
The exclusive pop-ups were inspired by four main outdoor themes and will visit New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Dallas stores.
Prada has just launched its “Prada Outdoor” experience in the U.S. The project includes a series of pop-ups and in-store structures inspired by four main nature and outdoor themes: Garden, Coast, Mountain, and Snow. The first installation, Coast, debuted at the Prada Broadway store in New York City on June 4 and will be there until June 20.
For this set, the brand brought dunes, rocks, and white and ocean-blue tents and sunshades to create a unique beach vibe. Of course, visitors can also find an exclusive ready-to-wear men’s and women’s collection inspired by the theme.
The collection upgrades beachwear and bathrobes with black Re-nylon and includes pieces like crocheted tunics, perforated nappa leather bomber jackets, and printed and striped designs. White T-shirts are covered with a crystal net to create the effect of a starry sky and chiffon slip dresses with sequins aim to reminisce water shapes.
Men’s designs also bring a relaxed feel, with colorful shorts made of stretch poplin, printed bowling shirts, black and white sweatshirts with a 3D Prada logo, and lightweight bomber jackets.
Bags come in a variety of sizes and include multi-colored cotton drill and woven straw pieces, along with mini bags made of wicker and leather. The collection also features beach and sports accessories, such as terry beach towels and cushions, lunch sets with sandwich boxes and water bottles, surfboards, rackets, skateboards, frisbees, and beach volleyballs.
Prada Outdoor’s upcoming locations are the Los Angeles-Beverly Hills store from June 14 to July 4, Miami Design from June 24 to July 12, and Neiman Marcus Northpark in Dallas from June 8 to June 27. Learn more about the experience on Prada.com.
