In a thrilling display of extreme sports prowess, Prada Linea Rossa has once again joined forces with a Red Bull athlete, this time with Brian Grubb for his “WakeBASE” project—a seven-year dream realized, bringing together drone wakeskating and BASE jumping in a performance set at Dubai’s Address Beach Resort.

Brian Grubb, an American wakeskate pioneer and three-time world champion, set his sights on a challenge that defies conventional boundaries. Perched atop the sky bridge at the resort, the Guinness World Record-holding infinity pool sits 294 meters above sea level. The journey began with Grubb wakeskating 94 meters across the rooftop pool, towed by a drone at a speed of 30 km/h. The real crescendo unfolded as he transitioned into a BASE jump, hurtling down 77 stories before landing on the beach below.

Prada Linea Rossa played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of “WakeBASE” by providing Grubb with cutting-edge gear. The collaboration focused on combining comfort and performance with the adaptability required for both extreme sports.
