Prada is taking customers from the Coast to the Mountains in its latest outdoor installation.

Prada Outdoor, an exclusive installation, transitioned to the Mountains at its Broadway, Soho store and Beverly Hills store on Thursday. The third instalment in the Prada Outdoor series trades in beachy crocheted dresses and fluffy bucket hats for more practical, sporty pieces. Prada Outdoor Mountain is dedicated to the authenticity of the mountains and the endless possibilities for sport that they provide.

It features an expansive green trekking camp, perfect for relaxing and planning new adventures, taking in breathtaking elevated views and setting off on hikes. And, of course, an exclusive themed collection for men and women, displayed against this picturesque alpine scenery.

Drawing inspiration from technical clothing, women's contemporary cotton garments are given a sporty twist with added pockets, waxed zips, elastic drawstrings and contrasting splashes of color. Ultra-functional details reinvent feminine silhouettes with metal buckles inspired by a multifunctional vest.

In keeping with the theme of reverence and respect for nature, knitwear is made from recycled melange mouliné yarn. The turtleneck top, leggings, new cycling models and crop top are paired with Re-Nylon vests with a backpack-inspired design.

Men's garments have the same casual and contemporary feel, but with more pronounced rugged influences. Natural cottons and technical fabrics make up blousons, multi-pocket vests and dungarees that transform into bermuda shorts. The raincoats and capes showcase a lightweight nylon, ideal for adventuring.

Mountain-themed accessories are practical and heavy duty, made for camping and hiking. With tartan-printed quilted blankets, sleeping bags and padded backpacks, - featuring an integrated hood - as well as shopping bags, single-shoulder backpacks, belt bags and puffy waterproof bucket hats.

Unique additions, including yoga sets, frisbees, basketballs and sporty mirrored glasses round out the collection.

The installation will be headed to Aspen on July 29.
