Prada Re-Nylon 2026 Campaign Features Actor Letitia Wright

In partnership with National Geographic CreativeWorks, Prada unveils a documentary campaign spotlighting its ocean literacy initiative, SEA BEYOND
Nylon has long been a hallmark material for Prada. In an effort to propose a more responsible approach to its use, the house launched its Re-Nylon collection in 2019. The initiative is dedicated to crafting accessories and ready-to-wear pieces entirely from regenerated nylon threads and fabrics.
For its latest 2026 campaign, the label tapped actor Letitia Wright. As she headed to the coast of Oahu, Hawai’i, home to a rich array of marine species, National Geographic CreativeWorks, Prada’s storytelling partner for Re-Nylon since 2019, captured her throughout the educational journey.

The result takes shape as a documentary film, released on March 27. In it, Wright explores the marine ecology of Hawai’i alongside Titouan Bernicot—SEA BEYONDer, Goodwill Ambassador of the project, and founder of Coral Gardeners, a SEA BEYOND-supported nonprofit dedicated to restoring coral reefs. The campaign also spotlights Dr. Kapono Ciotti, director of the Pacific American Foundation—a partner of the Hawai’i Blue Schools Hui, which works to advance ocean literacy among students—in conversation with Wright.
“Through a two-year educational journey, the Hawai’i Blue Schools Hui aims to build students’ ocean literacy through place-based action projects that celebrate Hawai’i’s unique biodiversity and rich cultural legacy,” said the press statement. “These young sea custodians dive beneath the surface, developing a deep understanding of the challenges affecting global water bodies.”
Behind the scenes, SEA BEYOND, Prada’s educational initiative focused on ocean literacy, helps make these learning pathways possible. As of July 2023, one percent of proceeds from the Prada Re-Nylon for SEA BEYOND Collection support the program. Altogether, the initiative reflects the Prada Group’s commitment to connecting the dots between fashion, sustainability, and education.
