Prada Re-Nylon Campaign Features Benedict Cumberbatch and Letitia Wright

The campaign is tied to Prada Group’s Sea Beyond preservation project
For the fourth year now, Prada has collaborated with National Geographic CreativeWorks for their Prada Re-Nylon campaign and SEA BEYOND educational project. Benedict Cumberbatch stars in Episode 1, set in Japan’s Izu Peninsula, while Letitia Wright stars in Episode 2, set in Oahu, Hawaii. For the shoot, Cumberbatch traveled to Japan, where he learned more about the SEA BEYOND program and its contribution to children’s environmental education. Here, he was captured on film in the latest garments and accessories from the collection.

Created and launched in 2019, the Prada Re-Nylon collection includes accessories and ready-to-wear. The regenerated nylon from the collection is an innovative fabric that was created via a complex process of recycling and purifying discarded nylon collected globally. Including textile fiber waste, plastic materials drawn from landfills, and fishing nets. Featured items for Prada Re-Nylon include bucket hats, drawstring bags, and various book bags. As expected, rich blues and earth tones are found throughout the collection. A percentage of proceeds from the collection benefits SEA BEYOND, the preservation project from Prada Group in partnership with a division of UNESCO.
