Prada Steps it up With the New Court Sneaker

Equal parts comfortable and chic, this new addition is an example of finely tailored craftsmanship
Since 1997, Prada has demonstrated a strong instinct for sneaker design. The original shoe was created specifically for the Luna Rossa crew during their campaign for the America’s Cup. For this design, and in future iterations, Prada placed a specific emphasis on style without hindering performance. Now known for the Prada Sport line, the brand has blended a sporty aesthetic with a luxurious sensibility. What followed the initial release was a process of refinement. Prada further developed the design in pursuit of precision. The result? The Prada Court.

The Prada Court is restrained in shape, finished with the house’s signature triangle emblem. Drawing on the history of tennis and the visual language of uniforms, Prada continues its exploration of refinement through reduction—finding interest in precision rather than excess.
