Preeminent Pop Princess Malibu Babie On Her Latest Hit Single, “Itty Bitty Titty Committee”

The dichotomy of Malibu Babie’s hip-hop sensibilities and pop aura exudes in her newest single, following her chart-topping collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.

West coast native Malibu Babie – co-producer of Nicki Minaj’s #1 single Super Freaky Girl – just debuted her latest archetypal hip hop/pop phenomena, “Itty Bitty Titty Committee.” With her sugary sweet yet sly voice, a memorable pop melody, her signature hip-hop sensibility, and her lyrical wit, “IBTC” is a self-love anthem and a playful hype song written last year as a result of finding confidence after struggling with body image as a teen. In hopes to be the encouraging force for others, the stakes are high and on a mission to radiate confidence, joy and her already prominent “bad bitch energy.” Malibu Babie is a shining example of someone who is fearlessly iconic, and effortlessly herself.

She shared, “I really wanted to make a prideful party bop about small boobs! As a young girl who was the target of mean middle school boys, this truly took a toll on my self-confidence growing up. So I wanted to make a song that 15-year-old me needed. Music can give you confidence and can give you permission to love yourself, and that was my mission here…but to sprinkle in some 808s and swag along the way. The chords in this song are actually interpolated from a 90s dance record ‘Everybody, Everybody’ and they really encapsulated the feeling that I wanted this song to have.”

Following closely behind her infamous party anthem, “Goodtime,” flirty banger “Emojis,” and “ Barbiegurl” – which skyrocketed on TikTok and Instagram due to its refined chorus featuring the original Aqua record with trap beats and heavy 808s – “IBTC” is an inside look into her new arena of musical artistry.

As Malibu Babie continues to step into her distinctive mastery with her string of new hit singles, her first two significant cuts as a producer immediately landed on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 – quickly becoming the fastest solo female rap song to surpass 100 million Spotify streams – and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Her”  which also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and is now dominating mainstream radio.
