Just seeing the words "good love" can send any person, millennial or otherwise, into a sudden existential crisis. There's not many that know how it feels, and those that do cherish every moment. Aly & AJ know that journey all too well, which inspired their new single, "Good Love," premiering exclusively on V. The track follows the '80s synth-pop vein found on their first EP in a decade, the appropriately titled Ten Years, creating an anthemic power ballad with towering synths and a punching chorus that'll make your arms sway in the air—as it has been on their Promises Tour, going through July.

"Good Love" marks the first taste of new music they promise to release this year, but they chose to put out this one first for a special reason—to celebrate all kinds of good love in time for Pride. “We specifically wanted to release this song during Pride Month so we’ve been looking forward to this moment for a while now," the duo explained. "This song represents the feeling you get when you’ve waited long enough for the right kind of love. There’s a relief once you get it and all you want to do is embrace that feeling.” They even mark this message with a rainbow-embroidered "Good Love" tee sold on tour.

If you haven't found that good love yet (both girls have, but that's likely not the case for 90% of us), maybe this jam will come close. Listen below.
