Premiere: Confidence Man Have One Question For You

Discover the Australian band’s new song and music video, shot in Berlin.

Australian four-piece Confidence Man spent the summer playing festivals, including Glastonbury and preparing to go on tour with the legendary band New Order. Now, they’re back with a new single and want to know, does it make you feel good?

The bouncy new track takes inspiration from 90’s dance bop, leading to a disco breakdown that is sure to have you want to hit the dancefloor. The questioning track leaves the listener with one answer, and that is that it does, in fact, feel good. Well, the 4 minutes and 50 seconds where you’re listening to it anyways.

The song comes with a striking new music video, shot by the band’s longtime collaborators Schall and Schnabel. They took inspiration from the band’s cult-like following at shows, including elements of hypnotisms, alters, rituals and levitation in the video, which was shot in Berlin, as band member Janet Planet recalls: “This is real-life footage of our night out in Berlin a few weeks ago. Didn’t get into Berghain but we found a cool group of people to worship us anyway. Look we can fly, so suck on that god.”
