V Premiere: “Little Red Thread” Video by KT Tunstall
The LA-based artist contemplates the physical connection between people in her new music video.
Following her 2018 album WAX, Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall returns with the music video for “Little Red Thread”. She ponders, “What if there was something physical that showed the connection between people; millions of red threads between our hearts – people on airplanes connected to people on the ground, all criss-crossing. You’d end up with a gigantic knot in the middle where we all tangle with one another, and when you pull on one little thread it moves everything…”
Tunstall caught the public eye with her 2004 debut Eye To The Telescope including hits such as “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See”, which earned her the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song presented by the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. During the same year, she won the BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist and was later nominated for a Grammy and a Mercury Prize.
After a three-year hiatus, Tunstall returned in 2016 with a trilogy of albums, the first being the critically acclaimed KIN. The trilogy embodies the thematic essence of the soul, body, and mind, with her latest album WAX being her “body” album.
KT Tunstall has embarked on her US/Canada Tour 2019, which kicked off yesterday in Vancouver, British Columbia. In less than a month after her tour, Tunstall will make stops in Japan and wrap up in the United Kingdom.
