Both icons in their respective industries, Tommy Hilfiger and Andy Warhol have served as artistic inspirations to many.

For the designer, Warhol served as a source of inspiration, motivating the launch of the Tommy Factory last fall. The Tommy Factor is an homage to the artist and is an experiential creative playground of sorts – inspired, of course, by Warhol’s famed studio in New York.

Now, the upcoming Tommy Hilfiger x Andy Warhol collection pays homage to Montauk, Warhol’s favorite coastal retreat. Exuding the seaside town’s calm energy and ease, the 28-piece collection features a mix of pop and prep, both themes clashing as effortlessly as the waves themselves. Through a variety of colors, fabrics and prints, the collection carries the vibrancy of Warhol’s art paired with classic Hilfiger designs.

A classically pop art lobster print dresses up a sweater and swim shorts, while a contemporary take on the poplin Oxford shirt reimagines looks for the spring season.

Women’s swimwear, midi skirts and shirts are elevated with a sunset print, while terry shorts offer the perfect comfort for a summer’s day by the sea.
