New York rapper Princess Nokia has never been shy about her affinity for '90s fashion. Now, she's taking the love affair a step further by starring in the fall 2018 campaign for Betsey Johnson, the nostalgic emblem of pretty-punk for millennials everywhere.

"Betsey is a icon to many NYC club kids and fashion weirdos," Nokia told V. "The plaid, the dresses, the summersault at the end of every season's show. Can’t tell me I’m not a fan, darling."

In the campaign, Nokia is pictured sporting a combination of classic Betsey pieces — think tulle dresses, novelty bags, and a massive butterfly pendant — alongside more modern takes on the brand's signature look (the blue turtleneck romper is to die for). The 26-year-old cites Posh Spice, J. Lo, and Aaliyah as other style influences, further cementing her loyalty to the era of tube tops and butterfly clips.
