Here comes the second wave of Balmain and Evian’s knockout collab. First, there was the couture gown and the limited-edition bottle. Now, the swanky French fashion house and the haute hydrator come together with a knockout capsule collection.
Sportswear silhouettes get drenched in pastel hues that collide Alpine skylines with the soft palette of Balmain’s universe. You can spot these awe-inspiring gradients anywhere from its candy-colored bomber jacket to its loose-fitting jeans that sumptuously sag. It can even be found in hoodies, t-shirts, and swimwear.
There’s the 1945 Soft Bag in 100% recycled polyester for those who yearn for bags. The Evian logo takes center stage, blown out of proportion and slapped on a puffy flap. All topped off with a “Balmain Paris” plate, this purse screams to be seen—even from the highest mountain tops. The B-Army Tote in recycled PVC also gets an Alpine makeover as the Evian and Balmain logo casually sit over a pastel skyline above snow-covered mountain peaks.

While it’s all very fresh and fierce, Balmain’s latest collaboration also scratches past the surface of serving stylish looks with sustainability as a muse. With much consideration for both the environment’s future and that of fashion, Olivier Rousteing and his team test their creativity not only with the collection’s apparel but also with its production methods.
Then there’s the matter of its materials. The Parisian fashion house suggests through a fervent dedication to incorporating sustainable fabrics—such as GOTS-certified1 organic cotton, FSC-certified2 viscose, and several GRS-Certified3 recycled materials—into producing its latest fits, perhaps shopping doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure.

With a stealthy reliance on a wide variety of eco-friendly practices, materials, and innovations, this collaboration is more than just another fierce fascination in the world of fashion; it is a call to action to the industry, leading by example.
However, this is nothing new to both French icons. Olivier Rousteing is no stranger to spearheading change. He’s reflected on everything from production, manufacturing, packaging, and labeling to the distribution of final designs and adapted Balmain’s structure to better align with environmental consciousness.
“Balmain’s first partnership with Evian helped show that sustainable practices can make for impressive outcomes,” said Olivier Rousteing. “But, for me, that was only a starting point. If we want to continue creating beauty, while respecting the beauty of this planet, there’s just so much more that all of us in the fashion world should be doing now. We need to test and perfect new techniques in sourcing, recycling, upcycling, sustainably producing—and yes, I know, the list can sometimes seem endless. Luckily, Evian shares Balmain’s dedication to searching for new possibilities—and with this second Balmain x Evian capsule, we aim to make very clear that conscience and creativity can actually work quite well together.”
Much like its collaborator, Evian also possesses a fierce devotion to the environment with its responsible sourcing of natural spring water. It is precisely its comprehensive actions, transparency, and B-Corp certification that called out to Rousteing for their initial collaboration.
“It is truly special to have the opportunity to come together with a fellow French pioneer who also values cutting-edge innovations, to collectively illustrate the beauty of togetherness,” said Evian Global Director Dawid Borowiec.

All wrapped up under the gleaming tagline, “Together, change is beautiful,” the collaboration asserts you don’t have to compromise style for sustainability.
Balmain and Evian’s second collaboration is now available in Balmain boutiques worldwide and on its official website.
