Ralph Lauren takes us to the Caribbean with his fresh Spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection, using stock colors and crisp cotton as the foundation for an island-ready look. With the standard amount of RL’s signature prep, this collection is a nostalgic take on a classic tropical getaway wardrobe with plenty of options for every daily excursion, and showing just enough skin to blend in with the locals.

The collection starts with beautifully simple floral patterns, styled with bare feet as the only accessory. A stunning Bella Hadid follows, donning a feather-bottomed denim cocktail dress and adding a youthful edge for the RL brand. A nautical shift appears as cartoon cruise liners and sailboats appear on sweaters, collaged swim trunks, and lacquered vinyl jackets and blazers. The standout looks of this collection are the flowing, floor-length beach dresses and the white strapless jumpsuits; stunning standalone pieces without any necessary need for over-embellishment on the styling.

Ralph Lauren is the all-American staple of NYFW with an incomparable archived body of work. Unsurprisingly, RL delivers the spring break collection of the season, still styling every generation and continuing his legacy. Click through the gallery below and see the nautical collection.
