Rihanna is the Now The Youngest Self-Made Female Billionaire

Rihanna’s business ventures have landed her on Forbes Self-Made Billionaires list.

Rihanna has dethroned Kylie Jenner as America’s youngest self-made billionaire.

According to Forbes, Rihanna’s net worth is nearly $1.4 billion, making her number 21 on the list of richest self-made women, just ahead of Sara Blakely, Founder of Spanx.

Though Rihanna is best known for her music, the mogul has made the bulk of her money through her several business ventures. She’s the co-owner of cosmetics line Fenty Beauty and skincare brand Fenty Skin, and holds a 30 percent stake in her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty, which is valued at $3 billion. These ventures have made her the first billionaire from her native Barbados, and the only woman under 40 on the billionaire list.

Rihanna, a nine-time Grammy winner, recently gave birth to a baby boy, her first child with partner A$AP Rocky. She might also be bringing new music into this world soon, teasing fans on her recent Vogue cover, saying: “I’m looking at my next project completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before. I think this way suits me better, a lot better.”

In March 2019, Forbes announced that Kylie Jenner was the youngest self-made billionaire. While she’s still on the 2022 list (and still the youngest woman on the list), her net worth is now valued at a still-impressive $600 million.

Other celebrities on the list include Kim Kardashian ($1.8 billion), Madonna ($575 million), Taylor Swift ($570 million), Celine Dion ($470 million), Beyonce ($450 million), Reese Witherspoon ($430 million), Barbara Streisand ($425 million), Ellen DeGeneres ($380 million), Dolly Parton ($375 million), Serena Williams ($260 million), Kris Jenner ($230 million), and Sandra Bullock ($225 million).
