Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Is Back For Volume 4
Rihanna’s boundary-breaking fashion show returns to Prime Video for the fourth consecutive year
Today, November 9th, Rihanna and Savage X Fenty released the fourth installment of their highly anticipated fashion show, which returned to Prime Video and 240 countries worldwide.
The fashion experience stayed true to its roots as a showcase of body positivity and beauty in every shape and form by including a diverse range of talent and celebrities that represent nearly every aspect of the human form.
Some of the talent that strutted their way across the screen include Rihanna herself, as well as Ángela Aguilar, Avani Gregg, Bella Poarch, Cara Delevingne, Damson Idris, Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls, Kornbread, Lara Stone, Lilly Singh, Marsai Martin, Precious Lee, Rickey Thompson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Simu Liu, Taraji P. Henson, Taylour Paige, Winston Duke, Zach Miko, and many more.
What’s more, on top of the dance numbers and mesmerizing walks, the show also featured musical performances by global musical artists Anitta, Burna Boy, Don Toliver, and Maxwell.
However, not everyone invited to be featured in the show was well received by the public. When news broke that Johnny Depp would be featured with his own segment, fans and social media alike were quick to criticize Rihanna for even thinking of including him. Depp recently faced allegations of sexual assault, which made the public feel uneasy about watching this year’s show and made them question the integrity of the brand’s values as a whole. In fact, one former collaborator with the brand, Olly Alexander, publicly stated he will never wear anything from the brand again and is cutting all ties he had with the entrepreneur and fashion show. After all, if Rihanna won’t stand with survivors, how can she claim Savage X Fenty stands for every woman and everybody?
Outside of the people featured, the show also included the first-ever Savage X Fenty Sport collection. The new sports collection, led by newly appointed Executive Design Director Adam Selman, blended elements of athleisure with lingerie making it suitable for anything from the gym to the couch.
If you’re looking to get your hands on this year’s Volume 4 and sportswear collection, it is available for purchase on the brand’s Amazon Fashion Store, as well as their own website.
