Since 1898, Rimowa has been dedicated to providing innovative German designs. Now, the suitcase brand taps on another classic German company to create an iconic collaboration. Rimowa X Porsche come together to present the new Hand-Carry Case Pepita. 

Rimowa and Porsche value functional design, technical innovation, and high performances at the heart of their business. They take these ideals and find ways to incorporate them in the cultural heritage of Germany. The Hand-Carry Case Pepita combines all of these motifs into one sleek bag. Made in Cologne, Germany the bag uses Rimowa’s grooved aluminum to elevate design elements from the first generation Porsche 911. 

The first generation Porsche 911 has become one of the most successful models in road car sales, and serves as the muse for racing and rally cars. The Hand-Carry Case Pepita features a hands-free design and TSA approved locks that make it perfect for road trips or flights. High-gloss details that pay homage to the silver mirror finish of the first generation Porsche 911, and the aluminium handle matches the color palette. Polished crest-shaped holders hold black leather straps together. They Porsche’s resemble traditional hood straps. The iconic Porsche crest adorns the front of the bag, joining the two brands together. 

Inside the bag, a U-pocket and an X-strap resembling a seat belt secure all items whilst in transit. A Houndstooth Pepita fabric, black leather accents, an imprinted Porsche crest, and a yellow instructional label complete the 911 aesthetic. 

This special collaboration bag is available in extremely limited quantities. To stay true to the overall aesthetic, only 911 bags exist, making this piece a true collectors item. In addition to the case, Rimowa presents a a Rimowa x Porsche Pepita Sticker Set, adding the luggage brands own aesthetic to the collection. The bag and sticker set drop on April 21, and will be available at select Rimowa stores worldwide.
