Rising Rap Star Kali Drops New Single “Wet” with Powerful Neon Visuals

Here’s your reminder that summer isn’t over just yet, and Kali says to make it a “Wet” one

Following her recent admission into XXL Magazine’s 2022 Freshman Class, Atlanta rapper Kali is back with her new single “Wet,” a sexy summer anthem with an addictive flow and catchy beat. Having recently flaunted killer performances in XXL’s freestyle and cypher videos, the 22-year-old star is rising quickly, facing off the male-dominated hip-hop industry with her witty wordplay and growing fanbase.

Earlier this year marked the release of Toxic Chocolate, the rapper’s highly praised EP containing hits “UonU (feat. Yung Bleau),” “Standards,” and “New Day.” The latter of which caught the attention of UPROXX Sessions, which presented an exclusively filmed performance of the standout hit. “(Kali) turns the tables on the f*ckboys of hip-hop, using their manipulative tactics to even the odds and give them a taste of their own medicine,” they praised.

“Wet” is streaming now across all major platforms, but this isn’t the last you’ll see of Kali. If her future is anything like her past trajectory—and no doubt, it will be—then there’s much more in store to come.
