Round two with Off-White™ x Braun

The alarm clock of your minimalistic dreams

Wake up in style with Off-White™’s latest collaborative feat. For the second time, Virgil Abloh has joined forces with Braun –the design-forward domestic appliances group– to deliver a sleek time-piece in the form of a minimalistic alarm clock. Their previous partnership saw the creation of a classic watch, which carried the brand’s signature stripes on its wristband, with the logo engraved on the side of the stainless steel case.

Braun’s renowned reputation for high-quality products alongside their distinctive design features is seamless with Off-White’s vision for blurring the lines between design disciplines and focusing on elements of the industrial and the everyday functional.

Available in a highly saturated orange or muted blue color palette, along with Off-White™ branding, the design is understated and compact, derived from the 1980s iconic AB1. These distinct Pantones were selected, said Abloh, because they immediately and naturally “stand out in an interior setting design.”

Technical specifications of this revamped BC02 alarm clock include: a quiet precision quartz movement, a matte finish case, and dial, and a crescendo-sound alarm itself. The dimensions are 57mm tall by 57mm wide, and it uses AA batteries (not included).

As the U.S. nears the one-year mark for WFH, many have taken to re-decorating and home-making. Perhaps the Off-White™ c/o Braun is the final touch to top off your nightstand, available for purchase at Off-White online and select Off-White boutiques worldwide for $70.
