RuPaul and his Queens are heading to Las Vegas for yet another spinoff of the iconic drag race premiering this August.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue” will consist of six episodes and follow the lives of fan favorite Queens from past seasons. This new season marks the fifth spinoff of the RuPaul empire and promises to bring audiences backstage into the personal and professional lives of fan-favorite Queens. 

The original “Vegas Revue” was formatted for fans to witness the show live in Las Vegas. But as coronavirus cases spiked throughout the country, RuPaul decided to create a docu-series of the season instead.

VH1 released a trailer of the new season earlier this week. Featured in the trailer were season stars Vanessa “Vanjie” Mateo, Asia O’Hara, Derrick Barry, Kameron Michaels and Naomi Smalls. The upcoming season will also star season eleven winner Yvie Oddly. 

“Vegas Revue” will premiere on VH1 August 21st at 8 p.m. central.
