Saint Laurent Launches New Jacket in Partnership With K-Way
The “VHS Sunset” piece is Saint Laurent Rive Droite’s latest offering.

Saint Laurent’s Rive Droite label has teamed up for the first time with sportswear label K-Way to create a new limited edition jacket. The “VHS Sunset” windbreaker is a reinterpretation of the signature K-Way jacket featuring an all-over sunset print with a retro digital effect.

The piece was crafted from water repellent and windproof ripstop fabric with inner heat-taped seams to ensure optimal insulation along with quality and functionality. It also features K-Way’s signature multi-color zipper in yellow, orange, black, and white plus a combination of the two labels’ logos at the front.
K-Way was created in Paris in 1965 by clothes retailer Léon-Claude Duhamel. After he saw people rushing in soaking wet clothes and carrying uncomfortable umbrellas on a rainy day, he was inspired to create the first windproof and waterproof packable jacket. The brand has previously collaborated with labels like Fendi and Versace.
Other Rive Droite pieces featuring the VHS Sunset motif include t-shirts, swim shorts, tote bags, postcards, and even skimboards and skateboards. The VHS Sunset jacket is exclusively available at Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles and on YSL.com/Rive-Droite.
