The notion of designer surfboards becoming a trend is seemingly outrageous—yet, what is more luxurious than a $33,500 surfboard to crash into the waves?
Saint Laurent Rive Droite has now joined the wave-chasing designer brands in more ways than one. Alongside surfboards, the Beau Lake paddleboards have a sleek vintage charm to them, furnished with Saint Laurent’s logo in a font reminiscent of a vintage Cadillac.
Beyond the boards, the Saint Laurent Rive Droite’s “37.2” Collection has created a range of seaside lifestyle products. With striking metallic wide-rimmed sunglasses, beach towels, tote bags, swimwear, and an array of other beachy products, catering to every aspect of the coastal lifestyle.
“37.2” will also highlight the iconic Calypso bag featuring a leather and chain crossbody strap—available in vintage white and black. As well as a sophisticated black and white tote bag with “RIVE GAUCHE” Saint Laurent logo on it.
In a collaborative effort with various brands and Saint Laurent Rive Droite, the collection includes vibrant primary-colored Lexon speakers, Lomography film cameras, and New Era caps. Saint Laurent Rive Droite—named ‘Rive Droite’ as a nod to Saint Laurent’s rive gauche line—is a creative and cultural destination curated by Anthony Vaccarello.
Photographed by the artistic Purienne, the campaign captures the essence of the collection through a hazy yet sharp lens, evoking the sensation of sunlight filtering through as heat waves ripple across the water.
Unveiling the refreshing ‘60s coastal collection, Saint Laurent Rive Droite has transcended its past collections, seamlessly blending vintage influences with a contemporary chic aesthetic.
