Hosted at Studio 525 in New York City, Sandy Liang’s fall/winter 2024 collection tells the story of maturation—an everyday schoolgirl’s invisible transition from normality to royalty. Reflecting on a decade of innovation, the brand has expanded beyond the realm of fashion to encompass the routine of a princess.

With 40 models debuting 40 looks for over 200 attendees, including celebrities like AnnaSophia Robb, Chase Sui Wonders, Devon Lee Carlson, and more, the event was a celebration of culture and creativity, inviting the audience to embrace the magic of fashion in all forms.

From jewelry and accessories to their first-ever home goods collection, one thing becomes apparently clear: Sandy Liang’s influence is here to stay—and so are the bows. Every individual garment tells a story, and as the brand continues to define emerging aesthetics, “coquette[ic]” remains at the forefront.

Weaving together elements of nostalgia, whimsy, and modern sophistication, the collection offers jackets and three styles of matching skirts, while also debuting the Recital bags, structured and adorned in shiny leather and embellished with delicate rosettes and pleats. Inspired by childhood planners and iconic figures like Sailor Moon, the capsule exudes a playful yet refined aesthetic, highlighting fabrics of pink constellations, soft grays, and rich reds that all evoke warm, wintery memories.

But beyond the allure of the individual pieces lies a deeper message of inclusivity and empowerment, with Liang’s designs celebrating the diversity within feminism and encouraging wearers to embrace their own unique style.
