Appointed as Creative Director in early 2024 after her departure from Alexander McQueen, Burton brings intimacy to the table with her debut Fall 2025 campaign. The visuals center on something deeply human: the connection between friends, and above all, the profound bond between a director and an actress.

The campaign stars model and actress Kaia Gerber alongside Dutch filmmaker Halina Reijn — best known for Bodies Bodies Bodies and Instinct, and acclaimed for her bold, female-driven narratives. Photographed and directed by Reijn herself, the campaign unfolds cinematically, stripped of heavy styling. It captures an intimate exchange between two women — one behind the lens, the other in front — offering a meditation on the female gaze.

In one frame, the filmmaker kneels before Gerber, adjusting her hem in a tender, choreographed moment of trust. The actress stands above her in a white mini dress and gold sculptural heels — poised and unguarded. In another shot, Kaia appears mid-scene, facing a hand clutching a script as if prepping for a line reading, dressed in a crimson slip and patent loafers. At last, she collapses into a pose, lace dress cascading, hands over her eyes — channeling more emotion rather than performance.

Now, this is Burton’s Givenchy, a Maison rooted in how women see themselves, one another, and the world. By centering this creative collaboration, she signals the beginning of a nouvelle époque. One shaped by vision, connection, and the voices of muses who author their own stories.
