Puma is constantly collaborating with the hottest names in pop culture, be it The Weeknd, Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, or their latest celebrity brand ambassador - triple threat, Instagram royalty, and everyone's favorite "Bad Liar," Selena Gomez.

On Monday, Sept. 18 it was announced that Gomez is the latest star to collaborate with the iconic athletic wear brand, and she will take on similar roles as their former partner Rihanna, working as a creative director, potentially designing a forthcoming line, and starring in the ads for their Phenom sneaker.

In a statement, the artist shared, "Being part of the PUMA family is very exciting for me. PUMA has changed the game when it comes to the mash-up of athletic wear and fashion. It’s amazing to see this influence on style and culture and I’m excited to be a part of it. I am hoping that we can create something special together. We already have some really cool projects in the works.”

Gomez's partnership with Puma follows in the footsteps of her boyfriend, The Weeknd's, work with the brand in which he held the same role and released his own line of sneakers. The "Fetish" singer's fashion venture is just her latest project in the industry, having appeared in Coach's ads and designing her own line of bags for the leather goods label this past year.

Puma and Gomez have already given a preview of the starlet in their trendy athleisure looks on social media, appearing in a velvet top and jacket paired with the classic shoes.
