Selena Gomez has been noticeably absent from the the public sphere over the past several months, but the moves she has made, including just a few new singles and an all-encompassing collaboration with Coach, have been impactful. And the latest news to come from the starlet is just as exciting. The artist is expanding her role as one of Puma's celebrity ambassadors, teaming up with the athleticwear brand to design a new sneaker.

The chic new sneaker, called the Phenom Lux, is an all-white shoe with a detachable gold anklet and stitching. In the photo, the shoes are paired with some funky socks, which Gomez also designed. In an interview with Vogue, she admitted that she's all but ditched most shoes besides sneakers, "They’re definitely dominating. My security [staff] wears them, my best friends wear them, and it just feels easy."

To support the partnership, Puma has pledged $100,000 to a nonprofit dedicated to research for Lupus, the autoimmune disease Gomez has been publicly battling since 2013. Both items will be available for purchase starting April 6. Peep the new sneaker and socks below.
