The classic American iconography of the Tommy Hilfiger brand continues with their latest release, inspired by the maritime tradition and the original logomania from the 1990s. The 22-piece collection was envisioned in a campaign that sailed the new pieces all the way down the Hudson River.

“The open water and the yachting lifestyle have always carried a sense of freedom and adventure,” founder Tommy Hilfiger said. “Since the early ‘90s, our collections have captured the spirit of the sea, embracing maritime influences and blending relaxed sailing-inspired design with timeless prep. This collection is a tribute to that passion, a modern interpretation of our nautical heritage that remains true to the pioneering spirit of the brand.”

In 2003, the relationship between sailing and Hilfiger began when he joined forces with world-class crews and began partnerships that had him designing sailing wear in his classic Americana style. In 2024, his love for the sport was undeniable when the U.S. Sail GP Team announced its global partnership with Hilfiger’s brand.

The Tommy Hilfiger design team went back into the archive for the sailing collection in both silhouette and vintage graphics. The rectangular “TH” is derived from the original 1985 logo, and the crew necks, regatta jackets, and deck coats are as preppy as ever.

The Hilfiger Sailing Collection will be available on tommy.com, in Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide, and through select wholesale partners beginning on April 14.
