The season of sun has arrived. Is there anything better than experiencing the sound of the waves, the smell of sunscreen, and throwing a stunning new pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes?

Saint Laurent is here to provide you with a range of new eyewear frames that are destined to become a new staple. For the Summer 2023 eyewear collection, the French fashion house is connecting classic and contemporary, while staying true to the allure of the maison’s tried-and-true style codes.

Captured here for V’s Summer 2023 issue by photographer Tyrell Hampton, a vision of elegance takes over as the square frames seen on models Meghan Roche and Luis Paredes deliver an amplified thick profile with signature corner angles, detailed with a ‘naked’ metal wire core visible through transparent acetate. The easy-to-wear frames are marked with Saint Laurent letter lasred on to the temples for a flash of luxury for the eyes no matter where you turn.

Echoing the vintage-inspired, oversize style aesthetic of the house’s Summer 23 fashion show, with Anthony Vaccarello’s inspiration stemming from Marrakesh and Moroccan deserts, the rimless and half-rim structures to the eyewear pieces help add to the maison’s iconic range of frames that fuse a sense of lightness with the touch of sleek metal screws, single bridge constructions, and sharply cut double top bars.
