She Said Yes: Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are Engaged

The proposal of the year already happened, and it’s exactly who we expected

Under a banyan tree and atop a warmly-lit staircase, Megan Fox said yes to forever with Machine Gun Kelly. The couple, after a year and a half of dating, sealed their fate under the same tree they sat under in July 2020 as they “asked for magic.” In a slinky black cutout dress which long, slicked hair, Fox appeared elated as MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, got down on one knee in a sparkly striped long sleeve, his blonde hair in its signature tousled state. “Having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” Fox wrote in an Instagram announcement. “And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”

As if their love story wasn’t already romantic enough, MGK popped the question with a custom ring designed with Stephen Webster. Two pear-shaped stones, an emerald and a diamond, are fused together by two bands of diamond-encrusted thorns. The stones represent their birth stones, and are joined as “two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.” But, a proposal of this magnitude would be incomplete without an anomalous reference by one of the two lovebirds. So, in typical MGK and Megan Fox fashion, Fox concluded her engagement announcement with  “and then we drank each others blood.”
