The award-winning fashion platform SHOWstudio celebrates its 25th anniversary since its launch in 2000. Deeply loved by the fashion industry, SHOWstudio explores the process of creating fashion visuals. Its inception came at a time when fashion lovers had little access to behind-the-scenes content of the fashion industry. SHOWstudio provided a platform to display backstage coverage of the fashion world that was completely free for users.
Founder Nick Knight pioneered technological innovation in the industry, exploring fashion film, livestreams, interactive digital runways, 3D scanning, avatars, motion-capture performance, photogrammetry, and AI to produce fashion visuals.

Throughout the years, SHOWstudio has collaborated with icons extending across fashion culture, including Alexander McQueen, Björk, Glenn Martens, John Galliano, Julia Fox, Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Martine Rose, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Rick Owens, A$AP Rocky, Rei Kawakubo, Travis Scott, Tremaine Emory, and Virgil Abloh.

Nick Knight explains that the 25-year milestone is as much about the future as it is about the past: “Image-making is about making visible what you can’t see, using our imagination to show our desires and dreams. Through the use of emerging digital technologies, for the first time art no longer has to be divided between the literary artist, musical artist and the visual artist , allowing us to be free from the divisions that have confined and restricted the arts. This is an incredible step in the evolution of human creativity. It’s absolutely vital that we encourage our artists to experiment with these new creative tools, as it’s the viewpoint of artists that we need to shape our future online worlds and our culture.”
To celebrate this milestone, Knight has collaborated with Ray-Ban Meta to present ‘SHOWstudio NATURALLY, Made With Ray-Ban Meta’, showcasing the evolution of fashion image-making, starring Anok Yai, Mona Tougaard, Naomi Campbell, Susie Cave, and Xiao Wen Ju. The work will be accompanied by a short film revealing the creative process of Knight and his team.

‘SHOWstudio NATURALLY, Made With Ray-Ban Meta’ demonstrates an effect enabled by Ray-Ban Meta glasses called Gaussian Scanning, where a subject is generated into a three-dimensional image. This effect is utilized by Knight to present 3D interpretations of models and landscapes. These 3D renderings can then be positioned at any angle Knight wishes. In doing so, the Ray-Ban Meta glasses allow Knight to capture models and their environments with hands-free filming in high resolution 3K, promoting a free-flowing, uninterrupted creative state.
‘SHOWstudio: NATURALLY, Made with Ray-Ban Meta’ is divided into three narratives—MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT—that present fashion as a living, breathing entity.

The designs of Iris Van Herpen, Comme des Garçons, Miss Sohee, Dilara Findikoğlu, Matières Fécales, Viktor&Rolf, Robert Wun, Jawara Alleyne, and archive Christian Dior by John Galliano are included throughout the film.
Regarding his collaboration with Ray-Ban Meta, Knight says, “I have always dreamed of being able to take a picture by blinking my eye, thus being physically free of a camera to move, to see and to try and find my dreams – the Ray-Ban Meta glasses are a huge step closer to this. For this piece of work that celebrates a 25-year journey, I wanted to create using AI and the new road we are travelling. There was something exciting for me in setting this all within the realm of nature as opposed to the expected harder digital landscape.”

Additionally, SHOWstudio will release an iconic Box Set featuring art from over the years of SHOWstudio projects, serving as a time capsule of never-before-seen work. With a limited-edition run of 100 boxes, each box set includes work by Lady Gaga, John Galliano, Virgil Abloh, Arthur Jafa, Pierpaolo Piccoli, Vivienne Westwood, Pieter Saville, Paolo Roversi, Wayne McGregor, Nick Knight, Glenn Martens, Kim Kardashian, Kate Moss, and more.
To carry on this celebration, SHOWstudio is set to release a series of new
