Siberia Hills x Ed Hardy Capsule Collection Reawakens the 2000s
Streetwear brand Siberia Hills puts a Y2K twist on its designs with the help of legendary tattoo artist and cultural influence Ed Hardy
Siberia Hills has unveiled a collaboration with Ed Hardy set to release on February 14, melding the early 2000’s with a modern youthful revival. The eclectic capsule collection features colorful graphics and patterns with a vintage feel, set on a variety garments ranging from baby tees to heavyweight sweatshirts, and accessories including a bag and boots. Shot through the lens of photographer Alana O’Herlihy, the campaign features Alana Champion, Iris Law, Raven Tracey, and Marquel Williams.
Founded by Daf Orlovsky in 2017, Siberia Hills is dedicated to storytelling, coupling high quality fabrics with expressive artwork and original treatments. The brand encourages outward thinking, looking to reimagine reality through film, fine art, and nature while questioning social norms.
“It’s always been important for us to make clothing with a message and purpose behind each garment: one that makes people feel expressive, to think outside themselves, and to be part of something bigger than a [fashion] brand,” said Orlovsky.
The collection marks Siberia Hills first steps into womenswear, paying homage to the iconic Don Ed Hardy’s signature tattoo artwork with an imaginative take on hoodies, tees and denim pieces, with new styles including a mesh long sleeve tee shirt, a mesh dress, and a 2-piece swim set.
Siberia Hills’ mystical streetwear edge is complemented by Ed Hardy’s legendary designs in a way that doesn’t overtake the authenticity of the brand; instead of idolizing mainstream fame, it celebrates autonomy and artistry, modernizing an otherwise generational style.
