Skate Through BBC ICECREAM’s Spring 2021 Collection
It’s a pop of color for the springtime
Pharrell Williams’ skate brother label, Billionaire Boys Club, has unveiled their Spring 2021 collection for ICECREAM.
This year’s collection is inspired primarily by Memphis Design, the Italian art and architecture group that was known for their eclectic furniture, often made in odd, angular shapes and with bright pops of color. Those colors are what become the main feature of this collection, also taking influence from classic pop iconography of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
As with any skateboarder, whose wardrobe consists of loose fitting cargo and varsity jackets, this collection prioritizes the same, opting for comfort with function. Graphic sweats, bucket hats, ripped jeans, with the brand emblazoned on them, form the crux of the collection’s style palette. The lookbook features skateboarder Olan Prenatt modelling the clothes while pulling off some moves on his own board.
The collection launches tomorrow, on February 18, 2021, and will be available on the brand’s website. Prices for each of the items range from $50 to $200.
